Celebrating our 23rd year of Music Lessons and Theater Camps in Chicago. Thank you!

This summer, young artists become the creators! In this collaborative weekly class, children will write their own original scripts, assign characters and roles, and bring their stories to life on stage. Along the way, they'll build fundamental acting skills and even compose original music to accompany their production.
More than just a theater class, Young Playwrights Workshop is about teamwork, friendship, and trust. Working together toward a shared creative vision, students will discover the confidence that comes from being both the author and the performer of their own story.
A truly one-of-a-kind experience where imagination leads the way.

Hannah Silverman is a Chicago-based voice and piano teacher with over seven years of experience as a teaching artist. Originally from Nashville, TN the daughter of acclaimed electric violinist Tracy Silverman and flutist Thea Suits, Hannah was highly encouraged to find herself with a career in the arts. She was also featured in Nashville Arts Magazine for her work in Act Like A Grrrl with the Actor's Bridge Ensemble. After falling in love with musical theatre in highschool, she supported that passion with classical voice training.
