Beginning Group Violin

Queen of Angels students from grades 2nd through 5th are invited to learn violin in a dynamic group setting. This program is designed to be inclusive, and welcome students with different musical backgrounds. Whether your child is just starting their musical journey or is looking to further develop their skills, we have a place for them.

Beginning Violin is perfect for those who are new to the instrument. Students will learn the fundamentals of playing, reading music, and understanding rhythm in a supportive and encouraging environment. 

Learning violin at the elementary school level will prepare your child for high school orchestra programs while experiencing personal growth, teamwork, and the joy of making music together. We believe that music has the power to unite and inspire, and we are committed to providing a rich educational experience that emphasizes creativity and collaboration.

Tuition: $280

Instrument rental - Students are required to provide their own instruments. We recommend renting from nearby A440 violin shop for their pricing and instrument quality. A 3-month period typically costs $80.00. Renting allows your child to determine if violin is something they wish to pursue before investing in an instrument.

A minimum of 4 students is needed to run each class. Classes will be limited to 8 children. Make-ups are not available for group classes. Students are expected to follow instructions from the teacher and be respectful at all times. Should discipline be an issue we will first reach out to parents. If a problem continues we may regretfully ask students to forfeit the remainder of the session to ensure quality of instruction for all students.
